Essential Oils

Essential oils are concentrated liquids extracted through distillation from plants and offering the health benefits of volatile aromatic compounds. Sometimes called volatile oils, essential oils could be thought of as plant "oil", such as rose oil or oil of clove. Oils are considered essential because they hold the "essence" or "vitality" of a plant's inherent fragrance. Perfumes, soaps, incense, cosmetics and even cleaning products may contain one or more essential oils to enhance aroma or improve the ability of the product to perform a certain function.

Young Living Essential Oils

The increasing popularity of alternative medicine and aromatherapy has revived an interest in the science of essential oils and their curative effects on a variety of physical and mental health issues. Young Living Essential Oils offers dozens of unique essential oils and essential oil supplements to soothe away stress and anxiety, increase energy levels and enhance general health and sense of well-being.

Essential Oils for Relaxation, Peace of Mind and Emotional Renewal

Young Living Essential Oils recommends lavender, peppermint, orange and jasmine essential oils for easing stress and enhancing emotional resilience. These essential oils work by stimulating your olfactory system, a set of cells and structures intimately connected to the limbic (emotional) part of the brain. As the oldest area of the brain, the limbic system helps control breathing, heart rate, hormone and stress levels.

Consequently, inhaling the powerful aroma of certain essential oils exerts profound psychological and physiological effects on our state of mind and emotions by innervating the limbic system in favorable ways. Receiving a therapeutic massage at our APEX Wellness Center with stress-relieving Young Living Essential Oils will also ease tension as muscle tightness dissolves and the calming aroma of lavender, jasmine or peppermint relaxes your body and mind.

Essential Oils for Physical Wellness

From weight management and whole body cleansing to improving thyroid functioning and relieving minor muscle aches and pains, essential oils and essential oil supplements offer solutions targeted to treat specific health issues that are preventing you from feeling your best.

Young Living Essential Oils help you face each day with healthy vitality and positive feelings. Feel wonderfully whole and balanced by taking advantage of pure and powerfully curative essential oils products such as OmegaGize3TM, LongevityTM, NingXia RedTM and Life 5TM.

Enhance Your Spirituality

The use of essential oils and incense have always been a significant part of many spiritual and religious meditation ceremonies. Research into ability for essential oils to heighten awareness, focus and a deep sense of peace found that the naturally stimulative effects of essential oils on the olfactory and limbic systems contribute heavily to invoking strong emotions, deeply embedded memories and a highly intuitive state of mind. Young Living Essential Oils recommended for spiritual purposes include Sacred Frankincense, Egyptian GoldTM, White AngelicaTM and InspirationTM.
