Chiropractic Care Testimonials

“I have been diagnosed with TMJ and told by medical doctors that there wasn’t much they could do and I should learn how to “manage” it and just live with it. I suffered from pain, headaches and dizziness every day. Then I found Dr. Stark and what a difference she has made. I am continuing to improve and am almost pain free now. She is caring and very skilled in her practice. Her office is very professionally run and her staff is competent and helpful. I would not go anywhere else!”

“I have always thought these reviews sound like a lot of fluff, so I imagine mine will too. My sister, her family, and our aunt have been seeing Dr. Erin for a while. My sister has wanted me to go also on account of my condition. I didn’t show much interest. You see, I was convinced nothing short of surgery would relieve my pain and alleviate my pronounced limp. Amy (my sister) finally insisted. I was apprehensive and weary. It had been years since I’d been to a doctor of any kind due to finances and poor insurance. To put my condition in a nut shell, I could not stand for longer than 5 minutes without heavy pain and walking I kept to a minimum. Needless to say, at 52 my activities had become as limited, less than some, as that of someone much older. After one visit with Dr. Erin my lower back pain was all but gone and my limp nearly gone. I must retrain my body to walk right and strengthen my back again through exercise. After the 2nd visit to the doc I began working in my yard again. I’ve taken up evening walks with my niece, oh and I didn’t even mention how nice it is to sleep 5-8 hrs a night rather than 3-4. I’m less stressed and a lot more fun. I’m also planning to go back to work. My sincere thanks to Dr. Erin and her staff and my sister.”

“dr stark is the best chiropractor i’ve ever had. and i am a “chiropractor conneisseur” having been to good ones. i’m a big guy and dr stark is very small. small women tend to do good with me, because their hands are smaller, their fingers are more narrow, so they can get right in there where you are out of alignment. dr stark is very very very precise. she does not give you a big back popping or neck popping, she goes after what needs to be worked on. the whole staff is compassionate, and dr stark very obviously loves what she does, and loves helping people get better. she treats me with compassion and dignity and i absolutely trust her and her abilities. if you just right now fell and messed up your back, they may not be able to work you in right this second — because she is so popular. her clients obviously love her, there is such a positive vibe going on in there that is conducive to good health. a very funny story — dr stark is determined! once, my neck would not budge — i am very hard to adjust. she said “i *want* that to move!” to nobody in particular and i started giggling. she got it to move. i slept like a baby. speaking of babies, she sees babies! i didn’t know you could take infants to a chiropractor but one of her patients said it’s amazing what chiropractic did for her newborn. dr stark is having her baby any day now, and that kid is going to have the best, most kick-a cool mom in the world. seriously, she is *the best* chiropractor i have been to, and i’ve been to a lot of really really good ones, and a few lousy ones. she is at the northewest corner of beltline and preston, on beltline right behind the bank. she keeps non traditional hours so you can get in after work. that was the initial selling point for me. plus, she’s just so incredibly good at what she does, and her attitude is wonderful. ok, consider this a gushing review, but i have nothing but wonderful things to say about her, and from what i gather, everyone else who sees her loves her too. not just likes but LOVES her. she really is the wonderwoman of chiropractic!”

“My name is Robert and I am a migraine sufferer. I have had migraines for more than 25 years and I just assumed I would have them forever. That was until I met Dr. Erin Stark. I have seen all different types of doctors (Internal Medicine, Neurologist, Pain Management) and they all said the same thing, “There is nothing else we can really do for you”. I have also had a lot of different procedures and tests such as epidurals, blocks, MRI, CT-scan, etc. I have tried all the medications offered and some helped but most didn’t. After a lot of pain and suffering, and more money than I would like to admit, my mother-in-law came to the rescue. She saw an article about Dr. Stark in a local newsletter and told me I should give it a try. It turned out to be the best decision I ever made. I have been going to her for 2 months now and she has done more for me than all the doctor before her. On my first visit, she made me feel at ease, explained everything we were going to try to do, and she told me it would take some time. Honestly, I got relief after my first visit, and it has only gotten better. I went from having a headache every day to having just a random headache. Also, the intensity of my headaches has gone from severe to pretty much non-existent. Dr. Stark is also a migraine sufferer so she understands what it is like and she wants to do whatever possible to end the suffering. After all these years, I never thought a chiropractor could help my migraines. Turns out she not only helped me, but basically gave me my life back. All I can say is, thank you Dr. Stark for all that you’ve done.”
